A
Perfect, Golden Setting -
Your home is like a perfect diamond. It's a dazzling asset, often a once-in-a-lifetime purchase. A diamond set in high quality gold by a trained gemologist, will be enhanced to its most reflective brilliance and protected for years. You need a qualified landscape architect to see that your home is placed in the perfect setting, enhanced to its greatest beauty and allowed to shine.
Carole Boleman, ASLA: A Sparkling Talent
She's innovative, decisive and experienced. She will develop a plan to create a memorable and lasting setting for the home of your life. Carole Boleman prepared early for the life of a landscape architect - she grew up on sites of new homes where her father was a builder, master at his craft. Carole learned from him that a good design cannot become a fine home without early input from a landscape designer. Carole received her formal training from Purdue, from which she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture. Today Carole puts her extensive training and exclusive style to work for you.
From the Ground Up
Ideally, a landscape architect should help you select the home site. When the landscape plan is completed before construction, it allows built-in economies, good ideas and endless possibilities. At this early stage, her trained eye can picture the finished structure with surprising accuracy. The plan then evolves on paper to encompass all facets: drives, walks, terraces, retaining walls and decks, as well as planted areas.
Landscape Renovation:
Resetting the Diamond
Landscape renovations and additions present an entirely new set of challenges: existing elements, emotional attachments as well as other limiting paramaters. Renovations or additions must be approached gently and judiciously. Carole's vast experience and special affinity for renovation projects will bring a radiance to your existing landscaping.
A Natural Ending:
With Age Comes Beauty
As with a diamond, a good landscape design is enhanced with age. As the plantings mature, their beauty grows. As time passes, the structures adjust to their setting. And the great home takes on a new grandeur, a shining example of fine landscape architecture.
As Carole sees it, the role of the landscape architect in the construction phase is just as important. The landscape architect will become the contract administrator, controlling the design flow, construction as well as costs.
The completion of any piece of art must be guided by the artist to preserve the integrity and intent of the entire plan. The result: an exquisitely natural ending .
